Four Branch Subsets
Revolt N Reign's artwork combines original illustrations commissioned from independent artists with historically sourced images licensed for free modification, commercial use, and sharing. Black-and-white photography appears on cards from that era. Color illustrations are being added as funding allows. Every final image will be either historically licensed or human-made, 28 so far. NO AI-generated art will remain in the final production set.
Defense cards are the backbone of every competitive Revolt N Reign deck. Without strong Defense positioning, no victory path, LP drain, Attack Victory, Petition builds, or Deck-Out strategies, can reach its full potential. Each of the four Branch subsets brings a distinct defensive identity: Bison Defense absorbs punishment and grinds through attrition, Eagle Defense controls board tempo and protects the Draw Pile, Liberty Bell Defense shields your UA-hunting sequence until the final strike, and Scroll Defense locks down your board state long enough for Petitions and Pillars to reach their threshold. Every serious player knows that the match is won in the Attack phase, but it's survived in the Defense phase.
