I'm David Michael Land the founder, designer, and sole creator of Revolt N Reign.

I served as a missile maintenance technician during the Vietnam era. It was work that demanded precision, discipline, and a deep respect for the country I served. That respect never left me, and it's the reason this game exists.

The rest of my life sharpened the same tools. I started building websites by hand back in the 1980s, before most people had heard the word "internet". I've always been the kind of person who teaches himself whatever a thing requires. I spent years managing high-volume retail storefronts for major national companies, running teams of 20 to 30 people, where precision and discipline weren't a slogan but the difference between a good day and a bad one. And around 1995 I bought my oldest son thousands of cards from one of the great early trading card games. I didn't know it then, but I was learning what makes a card game worth playing and worth keeping.

Since 2022, I've spent my time studying our founding documents and our rights. I began reading about what those rights truly are, and how many of them have quietly been turned from rights into privileges. The more I learned, the more I felt that most people never get to see it. That's what set this in motion.

I began building Revolt N Reign in August 2025. Every one of the 355 cards is rooted in America's founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Federalist Papers. I built it by hand and taught myself everything I needed to learn to do it right. Even the name came from a conversation with my three children: I brought them my ideas, we batted them back and forth to an early version that was "Born Fiery," which never quite fit, and out of that back and forth, Revolt N Reign was born.

Revolt N Reign isn't a history lecture. It's a competitive strategy game that puts the real founding documents back into people's hands. My goal is launching in 2026, the year America is turning 250.
